“A man is as young as his spinal column” – Joseph Pilates
In this 90-minutes workshop we will take a comprehensive look at our spine: how it functions, back care basics and essentials and how a Pilates practice can be effective in managing back pain, avoiding injury and staying active with an existing injury. We will learn how to correctly move our spines, work on flexibility and releasing tightness through stretching and movement, and learn techniques for stabilization of the spine to support correct posture.
