What were your initial goals coming in to Physio Logic?
I’ve been a long time patient at Physio Logic. I was recommended by a friend back when Physio Logic was still located on Remsen Street. The practitioners are very professional and knowledgeable. I’ve seen Dr. Rudy Gehrman, Dr. Stephen Szaro, Dr. Mike Distler, Dr. Ken Brassington – they’re all excellent chiropractors. I love working with Dr. Szaro. This time around I came in to get my lower back and left shoulder treated. The whole left side of my body was in such pain. I had flexion distraction decompression done for my lower back and Active Release Technique manual therapy for my neck and shoulder. Dr. Szaro was able to work out a lot of the pressure points on my shoulder. He also created an exercise program for my shoulder and back. My exercises consisted of pendulums for my shoulders and bridges and pelvic curls for my lower back.
I come to Physio Logic for a number of conditions. One of them being Physical Therapy for vestibular rehabilitation with Dr. Klaus Dobra. When I do certain motions with my head and body I feel extremely dizzy. Dr. Klaus has helped me improve my balance through a number of exercises. One exercise that has helped me quite a bit has been standing foam with different firmness passing a ball from side to side. He also had me do some tests with my eyes and head. Looking up, down, sideways while walking proved to be difficult at first, but we have seen quite a bit of progress throughout my treatment.
Dr. Tanuj Palvia has done a number of procedures with me to help relieve pain from the arthritis in my both my knees. I have had viscosupplementation and genicular nerve blocks, both which have delayed my need for undergoing surgery for knee replacement.
What was the one thing you liked most about Physio Logic?
The people that work here are responsive. Dr. Gehrman has developed a great team. I feel very comfortable here. The treatments are effective. It’s been a wonderful experience to come here, sometimes I wish I could live here!
