What were your initial goals coming in to Physio Logic?

I wanted to get back to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. I compete a bit, but I mostly enjoy participating in the sport. I try to get in at least 5-6 hours in a week. A year ago, I broke a bone in my right forearm. I had to get surgery to get it rebuilt and healed properly. I came in to Physio Logic my first time around post-surgery. This time around I came back because of a strained tendon in my elbow. Dr. Erin Weber, DPT did my initial evaluation both times that I came in. I worked with her and Dr. Klaus Dobra, DPT. They both showed me a variety of exercises and stretches to improve my flexibility for my arm. I saw both Atsuhiko and Amy for massage therapy after my physical therapy sessions as well. They were a huge help in breaking down the scar tissue that formed in my forearm and elbow. All the practitioners that I worked with were engaging and gave me a fair share of new exercises to do at home.

What was the one thing you liked most about Physio Logic?

I like the focus and attention from the practitioners. I found them to be very engaging. Dr. Erin and Dr. Klaus both attacked the issue from a variety of angles. Finishing the physical therapy sessions with massage therapy related to my treatment plan was a great addition.

What are the top three benefits from coming to Physio Logic??

  1. The massages.
  2. The function of the exercises given to me. I was able to build upon my exercise from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the new exercises from Physical Therapy. I know this will help me be more resistant to injury.
  3. Learning more about body mechanics in a systematic way. It’s very useful information. I’m able to identify problem areas and where they could be originating from to make the necessary adjustments when I’m training.

Would you recommend the services at Physio Logic to anyone? Why?

Yes. I’ve been to a bunch of different places for PT. The normal standard is unengaged, feels distant, and lacks proper instruction. At Physio Logic, I feel engaged and driven to learn more about my body and the practitioners are more than happy to feed me that knowledge in every session.
