What were your initial goals coming into Physio Logic? What conditions/injuries did you treated for at Physio Logic?

I came in after getting a back injury from playing volleyball. I’ve been pretty active my entire life playing sports all through high school and college. Somewhere in between that time I injured my back. I kept playing through the pain, and each month it got progressively worse. At one point, it got so bad that even the simple task of getting out of bed was difficult. A co-worker referred me to Physio Logic. He explained that Physio Logic had a holistic approach to treating people, so I decided to check it out.

What have you learned since starting your journey here at Physio Logic?

A lot of different and very useful stretches, preventative care habits, and how to go about managing pain if an injury does occur. The physiatrist recommended that I get a MRI to properly diagnose my back pain. Turned out I had a herniated disc. I’m so grateful that we found this problem early. The exercise routines along with physical therapy, spinal decompression, and chiropractic have allowed me to cut my recovery time significantly.

What was your favorite part of being our patient?

Physio Logic sets you up with a treatment plan. You know that each phase you go through will get you closer to your goal to total recovery. The reassessments are also very important to know where you stand during treatment, and if you need to spend more time doing certain exercises or if you need to rest a bit more. I love the holistic approach and not having to resort to pain medications. I feel every time I come here I’m strengthening my body for long term results.

Who stood out to you the most during your treatment at Physio Logic? How did they help you reach your goals?

Everyone has been great. Dr. Stephen Szaro was really good at explaining my treatment plan. Dr. Mike was very helpful as well. They always check up on my progress and show me what I could be doing on my own time to improve my recovery time. They’re modifications with certain movements and exercises have been invaluable.

What activities are you able to return to since transitioning from pain to wellness?

First time I came in to Physio Logic was about a year ago now. I was doing great until recently I experienced a minor set back. I’m doing much better again and in a few weeks I’ll be able to go on wellness maintenance doing Pilates to continue strengthening.
