What were your initial goals coming into Physio Logic? What conditions/injuries did you get treated for at Physio Logic?

I was suffering from hip bursitis and knee pain for years and recently it was becoming a real burden with my everyday life. I went to my doctor to see what could be done, and I was given a prescription for physical therapy. My yoga teacher from Mala Yoga in Brooklyn Heights recommended I check out Physio Logic, since many of her clients spoke very highly of the physical therapists that work there. I came into Physio Logic to reduce the pain I was feeling, and to get back into exercise. I am always adamant about staying in shape and running has been something I’ve always enjoyed throughout my lifetime. Unfortunately, I had gotten to a point where it was too painful to do that so I know I had to take action.

What have you learned since starting your journey here at Physio Logic?

Doing physical therapy here has made me more aware of my body’s weaknesses. I have learned a number of exercises to improve my overall strength, stability, and well-being. Consistency is important to see any real results. I was able to ask a lot of questions while getting treated here, so I learned a bunch of cool facts about anatomy. I’m more aware of my daily habits and improving/modifying my body mechanics for a better outcome.

What was your favorite part of being our patient?

Every part of me is being treated. This is the most complete approach I have ever experienced from any clinic I’ve been to. From physical therapy, to chiro, to medical massages, there is just a fuller picture of care at Physio Logic. I have had experiences at other clinics where you are just channeled through a system, no one tells you where you’re at, or why you’re doing the exercises that you’re doing. You’re in and then you’re out. At Physio Logic I genuinely feel that people care here. They take the time to explain my treatment, and answer any questions I have. The people are just easy to talk to and so nice as well.

Who stood out to you the most during your treatment at Physio Logic? How did they help you reach your goals?

The physical therapists all stood out to me. Amanda, Erin, Glorie, and Nya. They were all fantastic. This was my first time seeing a chiropractor. Dr. Stephen was great at explaining my form. Everyone here is just at a different level with their expertise. The manual therapy here was great as well. I felt immediate relief with each visit.

What activities are you able to return to since transitioning from pain to wellness?

Life is less painful. I feel more at ease with my daily activities. The pain I was feeling before was getting in the way of me living my life to the fullest. Feeling better has made me realize how fragile the body can be when it’s not taken care of properly. I plan on running again very soon.
