What were your initial goals coming in to Physio Logic?

I pulled a muscle in my glute that has been bothering me on and off again the last two years. I’ve gone to other physical therapy clinics in the past, but they’ve never been able to help too much in the long term. It wasn’t until I moved to Brooklyn that I came across Physio Logic. I checked out the website and really liked the integrated approach to health. I like that everything is under one roof. When I first entered Physio Logic I knew immediate that this was the place for me. The practitioners are dedicated to explaining the treatment with you and get to the root cause of the issue. Although I had to pay more out of pocket, I knew that it would be worth it. Dr. Palvia, the sports medicine specialist, ordered x-rays and saw that I had a corroded sacroiliac joint. He prescribed chiropractic treatment for me. While working with the chiropractors I had slight adjustments done and learned a few exercises to help strengthen the surrounding muscles. After a few weeks of treatment, Dr. Palvia re-evaluated me. He recommended that I get an MRI done to rule out any other possible reasons for my pain. He then prescribed physical therapy. I saw most of the physical therapists. Everyone was helpful and I liked that they all had different styles and approaches. They offered their perspective and opinions. This helped me learn a lot about my body, they showed me what they saw, and explained what I needed to do to fix the problem.

What was the one thing you liked most about Physio Logic?

The treatment plan was designed with a bunch of great exercises. I increased my flexibility and strength. I really like that my appointments combined whatever services I needed in the same day around the same time. It made scheduling very easy. I would come in during the morning and be done right before going to work. The communication between practitioners is strong. I still see the chiropractors for maintenance care. The ambience of this place doesn’t make it feel clinical or like a regular doctor’s office. Everyone is helpful, from the front desk, to the care managers, to the practitioners. I don’t dread coming here, in fact, I really like coming to Physio Logic.

What are the top three benefits from coming to Physio Logic??

1. I feel way better. 2. I learned what that root cause of my pain was. I know what to do for prevention. The stretches and exercise were extremely helpful. 3. I know how to handle certain situations. If I had tightness in a certain part of my body, I know how to self-treat, and I know that I can always come to Physio Logic to get fixed up.

Would you recommend the services at Physio Logic to anyone? Why?

Yes, especially to my close friends. I always tell them to deal with any pain immediately because you don’t want it to get worse over time.
