Our range of care offers Spine, Sports, and Regenerative Medicine; Non-Surgical Interventional Pain Medicine and Non-Opioid Pain Management Treatment; Functional and Internal Medicine, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nutritional Counseling and Extensive Diagnostic Testing, Health Coaching, Pilates and Yoga Services.
Non-Surgical Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is led by our Double Board Certified Spine & Sports Interventional Pain Specialist and Anesthesiologist, Dr. Tanuj Palvia, MD. Interventional Medicine emphasizes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain conditions.
The providers at Physio Logic are nerve, muscle, and bone experts who specialize in conditions affecting how you move. The role of the Interventional Medicine team at Physio Logic is to diagnose and treat pain, restore maximum function lost through injury or disabling conditions, treat the body as a whole – not just the problem area, collaborate with other medical professionals, provide non-surgical treatments for pain management, and explain your medical problems and treatment plan.
Regenerative Medicine treatments have been utilized by many fields of medicine in the past but, advances in the medical world have unlocked new opportunities to refine existing Regenerative Medicine Therapies and develop new ones that are applicable to the Orthopedics, Sports, Spine, and Pain Medicine Specialists.
The basic principle behind Regenerative Medicine, as it applies to the musculoskeletal system, is the potential for repair, regeneration, restoration, and pain control. Regenerative Medicine includes Prolotherapy, PRP Treatment (or Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy), and Stem Cell Therapy (harvested from bone marrow or amniotic fluid).
Physical Therapy at Physio Logic is performed one-on-one by Pilates certified, NYS licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy.
Our unique approach of combining traditional Physical Therapy, Pilates, and advanced manual therapy to create a multi-dimensional treatment protocol that has proven to be very successful in treating many neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. Implementation of these advanced techniques allows us to improve our patients’ motor control and function while reducing pain.
The Chiropractors at Physio Logic are dedicated to providing unparalleled patient care and service in a comfortable healing atmosphere. We pride ourselves on utilizing evidence-based techniques and treatments, as well as educating our patients about their diagnosis and course of treatment.
We select research supported treatment techniques and remain open-minded to investigative care demonstrating promise to help patients suffering from pain. We integrate Chiropractic Treatment into Traditional Western Healthcare to solidify relations between Medical Healthcare Providers, Chiropractic Physicians and Complementary Care. We offer unique therapies such as Spinal Decompression for disc herniations; Active Release Technique for soft tissue injuries and mobility issues; Graston Technique for soft tissue fibrosis or adhesions; and Kinesiotaping for supporting injured joints and muscles while promoting the body’s natural healing process.
Acupuncture is the most common modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is accepted by the National Institute of Health for a wide variety of medical conditions, including neuromusculoskeletal problems, internal medicine, and mental health conditions. Acupuncture works by inserting very thin, sterilized needles into the body at specific points along the body’s meridians, or channels, to balance the nervous system and increase circulation making it easier for the body to heal itself without the use of medication.
Sports and Medical Massage Therapy, or manual therapy, is an integral part of treatment at Physio Logic. Physical therapy patients Physio Logic receive individualized manual therapy built into each physical therapy session. Our Licensed Sports and Medical Massage Therapists work closely with the Physical Therapists and Chiropractors to provide individualized effective treatment for each patient.
Functional Medicine addresses the underlying causes of disease, using a systems-oriented approach that engages both patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership.1 It is an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, functional medicine supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.
The Functional Nutrition approach at Physio Logic views health not as the absence of disease, but as a state of maintaining balance in all organs and systems of the body.
This type of balance allows for the body to function optimally as one whole unit. We consider symptoms as the body’s way of communicating with us. Instead of silencing that communication, the Clinical Nutrition program at Physio Logic is designed to determine the underlying causes of disease and dysfunction in the body.
Health Coaching at Physio Logic is led by Samantha Wineke, Functional Health Coach. A Health Coach empowers you to make lasting health behavior changes that are the cornerstones of lifelong health and well-being. Health coaching can bridge the gap and offer more in-depth support where other health care providers fall short.
I signed up for the 3 month FRESH Integrative Medicine Program to see Dr. Robert Graham, Michelle Miller, and Julie Graham. It’s been a great program so far. It gives me some accountability, I’ve tried different health programs in the past, but I never stay motivated enough to see it all the way through. It has helped me jump-start my life to develop better habits.
“I have been working with Dr. Ken Brassington for chiropractic care. He is familiar with my case. His treatment included exercises, chiropractic adjustments on my back and hips, and pressure point therapy. After 3 months I felt some relief, it felt controlled. I’m not in pain anymore and continue to come in for maintenance care once a month.”
