Rachel Naar is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who completed her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and Didactic Program in Dietetics at New York University. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She currently works as an in-patient Registered Dietitian at Mount Sinai West serving their psychiatric, pre and post-op orthopedic surgery, and cardiac general health units.
Rachel’s nutritional approach includes an all foods fit model exploring the relationship between food and mood. Rachel specializes in working with patients with various psychiatric disorders, eating disorders, food allergies and intolerance, and GI distress.
Her nutritional approach focuses on all aspects of the individual addressing them as a whole, delving deep into stress and energy levels, sleep, lifestyle, and eating patterns.
Rachel started at the Physio Logic team as a Clinical Nutrition Assistant back in 2016, and has since become a Registered Dietitian, contributing many articles as a Nutrition Educator.
