Pilates has been a more thoughtful, structured and interesting alternative to my standard gym training. I wanted to invest myself in a practice in which I will actually know what I’m doing, rather than just follow routine sets of exercises.
I view Pilates as an efficient system to transform our bodies: improve posture and alignment, prevent injuries, tone and condition, and most of all – raise awareness to how we carry our bodies and move in the world.
With additional training and experience in Thai Yoga bodywork, therapeutic horseback riding and health coaching, my approach is holistic and personal.
Outside the studio I bike, swim and practice aerial work, and I’m involved in different community activism projects. I’m also on a mission to visit every hot spring I can come across.
