Diagnostic Testing is performed to confirm or determine the root cause of disease or condition in an individual suspected of having a disease or presenting a condition, usually following the report of symptoms, or based on other medical test results. Cortisol Saliva Test
At Physio Logic, we use the Adrenal Stress Index Panel by DiagnosTechs which measures the levels of the stress hormones – Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEAS) and cortisol in your saliva.
The test involves collecting 4 samples of saliva over a 24 hour period. The samples are then shipped to DiagnosTechs and analyzed.
The test provides an evaluation of how cortisol levels differ throughout the day. DHEAS and cortisol are adrenal hormones that are key to helping us adapt to stress. When there is an imbalance between the two, individuals lose the ability to adapt effectively to stress which can result in the aforementioned symptoms and ill health.
Stool Analysis Test
Our clinical nutritionists use the Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis 2.0 (CDSA 2.0) provided by Genova Diagnostics. It’s a non-invasive test that involves collecting stool samples which are then shipped and analyzed by Genova. We have had great success with this test and have been able to identify and correct digestive issues for many of our patients.

Mediator Release Test (MRT®) Blood Panel Analysis
The Mediator Release Test (MRT®) is a blood test by Oxford Biomedical Technologies. At Physio Logic we see many individuals with food allergies beyond the 5 most common: wheat, dairy, soy, peanuts, shellfish. Your blood will be drawn by our medical assistant and sent to the lab for results. We will review the findings with you to set up a structured plan to eliminate chronic inflammation.

InBody 570 Body Composition Analysis
The InBody 570 goes beyond traditional body composition analysis. It not only analyzes how much fat and muscle you have, but it also calculates percent body fat, basal metabolic rate, and fluid distribution throughout the body.
The InBody has the ability to measure your fat, muscle, and water levels in just 45 seconds. Safe, low-level currents are sent through the body through the hand and foot electrodes. The impedance the currents encounter are measured, and from there, your body composition is derived. With InBody’s patented technology, body composition analysis has never been more correlated with gold standard methods until now.
Each InBody Test will print out a full-page results sheet detailing the muscle, fat, and water values of the user. The InBody 570 provides you with lean mass and fat values in each segment of the body to give you a proper assessment of body composition.
