Ellie fell in love with the Pilates method as a teenager. The mind-body practice helped her tap into her body’s imbalances and she embarked on a journey of physiological self-discovery. She has been practicing Pilates for 12 years as a rehabilitative and cross-training exercise form to maintain her hypermobility disorder. She believes the Pilates method is an incredible exercise method for the every-day couch potato to the elite athletes and has enjoyed sharing this form with others for the past five years. As a professional dancer, the Pilates method has kept Ellie in her best shape for performances. She has taught several Pilates for Dancers workshops to guide dancers in exercises that will help with injury prevention and conditioning in the off season. When Ellie is not doing Pilates, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband and dog, dancing, playing the piano, and being snuggled up reading a good book. Ellie is certified in the BASI Pilates Method and is thrilled to be on the Physio Logic team!
