What were your initial goals coming in to Physio Logic?
I came into Physio Logic because I was feeling pain in my hip and leg. After my evaluation with the physical therapist, I was told that my IT band was the reason I was feeling pain. I ended getting treated by the chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists.
What have you learned since starting your journey here at Physio Logic?
I never knew that I had been standing and walking the wrong way my entire life. I had to re-train my body. The practitioners were amazing at teaching me proper posture and exercises to correct and eliminate my pain. I was standing with my hips out when they should be back and in alignment with my spine. My left leg felt much better after a few weeks of performing the exercises. I learned that as I walk I should be engaging my core. All these subtle and little modifications have made a big difference in my life. I feel more balanced. I’m more mindful of my body. If I catch myself slacking I know how to correct my posture and try to stay aware if I fall back into old habits.
What was your favorite part about being a patient at Physio Logic?
I always feel better after I leave a treatment session at Physio Logic. The staff is very nice and helpful. The space is cool, and doesn’t have a clinical feel.
Who stood out to you the most during your treatment at Physio Logic? How did they help you reach you goals?
That’s a really hard question. Everyone is very good here. I especially liked working with the physical therapists. Dr. Stephen was extremely helpful when it came to healing my leg. His chiropractic treatment and no nonsense approach had my pain free in just a few sessions. Dr. Rachel makes me understand everything that I have to do during my physical therapy sessions. I know what I must do to better myself. I’ve seen many PTs here. They’re all different, in good ways. They’re very dedicated to make you feel better.
What are the top three benefits from coming to Physio Logic??
1. Feel better. 2. Know more of what was causing the problem. 3. The exercises. I do them at home so this pain doesn’t happen again.
