What were your initial goals coming in to Physio Logic?

I’ve been getting treated by the physical therapy and chiropractic team at Physio Logic since Dr. Rudy Gehrman opened up his first practice two locations ago. Initially I came in with lower back pain and nerve pain in my right leg while I was pregnant. It was really affecting my day to day life negatively. It was becoming increasingly difficult to walk without pain. Dr. Nya, Dr. Erin, Dr. Mike, and Dr. Ken were all extremely helpful in getting me out of pain. After my pregnancy I was still suffering from lower back pain, so I came back a second time. Physio Logic was able to relieve my pain successfully and suggested that continue exercising to help me develop a stronger core and muscles. This is the third time I’m coming back into Physio Logic after tearing my hamstring from a yoga injury. A lot of scar tissue had developed around the tear that needed to be broken up. This time I was seeing Dr. Erin and Dr. Rachel for physical therapy as well as all the chiropractors. Progress has been slow, but having experienced the care offered at Physio Logic, I know I’ll get to where I need to be eventually. The main goal is to return to practicing yoga.

What have you learned since starting your journey here at Physio Logic?

The importance of upkeep with exercise. Core strengthening. When I first started at Physio Logic I didn’t really have core strength. The exercises I learned definitely helped to get me stronger and the right track. There is no such thing as a quick fix. You have to be consistent with exercising. Chiropractic care for maintenance is valuable. I like how the practitioners here emphasize preventive care. Knowing when your body needs rest. Proper posture. I learned how connected everything is inside my body, and how a weakness in one area will affect another area that seems completely unrelated.

What was your favorite part about being a patient at Physio Logic?

I love all of it. It feels good to come into Physio Logic. It has never been an unpleasant experience. Physically it is enjoyable. I’ve become so much more proactive since my first session all those years ago. I don’t wait until things go from bad to worse, I make sure I take care of any pain or sign of dysfunction early on. It is so satisfying to get such efficient care. Treatment always feels right here. I’m always raving about Physio Logic to my friends and family. I pay out of pocket with the knowledge that I could probably go somewhere else cheaper, but I know it’s well worth it. Everyone here is friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. Massage therapy here alone has been a huge help. The massage therapists so skilled, and I feel amazing after a massage therapy session.

Who stood out to you the most during your treatment at Physio Logic? How did they help you reach you goals?

I worked with many different providers here and all of them range in an area of excellence. Dr. Erin Weber for physical therapy. Dr. Mike Distler for chiropractic care. I’ve seen them the most, and both know how to handle me and know how to address my concerns. They explain clearly what will be involved during treatment. As for the massage therapists, Amy Montia and Atsuhiko Kawamura were my absolute favorites. I’ve never had a sub-par experience with them. Each practitioner brings something new and different to the table, and I’ve always felt comfortable and respected with everyone. Everyone is informative and positive. This is what keeps me coming back.
