What were your initial goals coming in to Physio Logic?

I came in to Physio Logic because I was feeling a lot of pain in my right forearm. My initial evaluation was with Dr. Stephen Szaro, who has helped me with different issues in the past. I spent most of the Fall season under his care, doing different exercises to help strengthen my forearm. Unfortunately, it did not get better. In fact, it got worse. Dr. Szaro took note of this development and ordered an MRI for me. The MRI showed that I had a 50% tear in my forearm’s tendon. He recommended that I see the pain management specialist & anesthesiologist, Dr. Tanuj Palvia. After speaking in depth with Dr. Palvia, he offered platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy to me. I wanted to give that option a try before going straight to surgery. I got the PRP injection done in January. As time went by, I was feeling gradual relief. Towards the end of February is when I started feeling the positive effects of the treatment. By the time April came around I felt normal again.

What was the one thing you liked most about Physio Logic?

Dr. Szaro and Dr. Palvia were very helpful and informative. They answered my questions thoroughly. Dr. Szaro has been helping me heal for years, especially in regards to my shoulder and back pain. The front desk were excellent. Phil was very helpful as well. I’ve been coming to Physio Logic since they were still located at the Remsen Street location, back when Dr. Gehrman was the only practitioner available. There are great people that work here.

What are the top three benefits from coming to Physio Logic??

1. Advice that I could actually use to help me heal and relieve pain. Effective treatment plans with direction and results. 2. Norman. I love seeing that dog. Makes me very happy. 3. Diane & Miguel, the rehab techs were great. They made the exercise portion of my care fun and enjoyable.

Would you recommend the services at Physio Logic to anyone? Why?

Yes. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience here.
