What were your initial goals coming into Physio Logic? What conditions/injuries did you get treated for at Physio Logic?
I’ve been coming to Physio Logic for over 13 years now. I’ve been seeing Dr. Gehrman for chiropractic treatment around the time he just began his practice. He’s been an amazing doctor, and he’s really created something special. It’s amazing to see this business grow to this level. I no longer live in Brooklyn. I moved Upstate and tried out a few difference practitioners, but nobody comes close to Dr. Gehrman. I actually drove down here just to get treated at Physio Logic because my right shoulder was in such pain. I had gotten some MRI’s done which shows that I’ve developed some tears in my muscles.
What have you learned since starting your journey here at Physio Logic?
Over the years I’ve learned a ton of great exercises that have helped me immensely. I’ve been trying to stay away from surgery as long as I can. Physio Logic has helped me improve to the point where I don’t have to have that option any more.
What was your favorite part of being our patient?
Along with Dr. Gehrman I really enjoyed working with Dr. Distler and Dr. Szaro. They’re both very organized and I trust their expertise. I can feel that I get better every time I come here, which is why I continue to make my way down to Brooklyn all the way from Upstate. There is no other practice that can compare.
Who stood out to you the most during your treatment at Physio Logic? How did they help you reach your goals?
Dr. Gehrman, Dr. Szaro, and Dr. Distler.
What activities are you able to return to since transitioning from pain to wellness?
It hurt like hell just drying myself off with a towel coming out of the shower. My shoulder was causing me such pain that I couldn’t even reach around to my back pocket. There were certain motions that I was just not able to do which was getting in the way of me living my life. It took 10 sessions until I was able to regain motion without any pain. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m amazed at how well the treatment here has helped me.
